What it does.

After breakdown, logistics begins: boards and planks must be singulated, measured, sorted, stacked and packaged – often in many dimensions at once. Good sawn timber handling keeps up with the saw, treats surfaces gently and delivers clean packages for drying and dispatch.

Sorting pockets collect boards by dimension, length or grade.

Stackers place sticks and build stable, kiln-ready packages.

Cross conveyors, roller tables and transfers without surface damage.

Frequently asked questions.

01How many sorting pockets do we need?

It depends on your product mix: dimensions, lengths and grades. We derive the number from your assortment and plan reserves for future products.

02Can an existing sorting line be extended?

Often, yes – for example with extra pockets, a new stacker or a trimming station. The prerequisite is a layout we check together on site.

03What experience do you have with stacking?

Conveying and stacking equipment for sawmills is part of our project history – for example in 2018 for a sawmill in Luxembourg. Technologically we typically work with our partner M-TEC here.
